FAQs
Everything you need to know about fees, policies, and student support at ICQA.
How much does the course cost?
The course fee — including any non-tuition costs such as materials and administration — is confirmed in writing before you enrol. You can find current pricing in our Fees & Refund Policy, and your individual fees are itemised in your Written Agreement and the Statement of Fees issued with it.
How much do I need to pay upfront?
ICQA keeps upfront payments low. Under the Standards for RTOs 2025, we will never hold more than AUD $1,500 of your fees in advance at any one time. You pay the balance progressively as you move through the course, following the payment schedule in your Written Agreement. Where an employer or other organisation is paying on your behalf, those arrangements are covered by a separate written service agreement.
Where can I find information on refunds?
All payment terms and refund conditions are set out in our Fees & Refund Policy, which we recommend reviewing before you enrol. Your fees are protected under the prepaid fee requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2025. For a plain-English summary of your rights, see our Consumer Protection information.
What's expected of me during the course?
This is a structured online program with scheduled workshops. There's no fixed-attendance rule — instead, you're expected to engage with the learning materials, take part in any scheduled workshops, and submit your assessments by the dates in your training plan so you make satisfactory course progress. If you need more time or extra support, talk to your trainer.
Can I get recognition for prior study or experience?
Yes. If you already hold relevant units or qualifications, you may be eligible for Credit Transfer. If you have significant leadership experience, you may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), where your existing skills and knowledge are assessed against the units of competency. Details are in our Recognition of Prior Learning information.
